What We Do

The CT Daffodil Show

We host the largest daffodil show in the northeast.  Our show is usually held the 4th Wednesday and Thursday of April.  You do not need to be a member of The Daffodil Society to enter the show, although we do hope you will join us.  Our show features Horticulture, Floral Design and Photography divisions.  In addition we have special youth classes for children 18 and under in Horticulture and Photography.  Visit our show and be dazzled by the daffodils!

Civic Bulb Plantings

Every fall our society provides daffodil bulbs to various civic organizations and garden clubs to be planted on public spaces. The bulbs are free of charge, although we do ask that you send us photos of your planting and enter at least one bloom in our show the following spring.  For more information on how to receive your free bulbs contact us.

Educational Workshops

Throughout the year the CT Daffodil Society offers workshops with a primary focus on growing & showing daffodils.  We also host floral design and photography, and youth workshops to encourage artistic as well as horticultural interest in daffodils.
